Welcome to this website. My purpose in setting it up is to share with anyone 
interested in family history the information it contains. I have tended to go for an 
overview rather than detail, so if you are interested in a particular family or 
person, please feel free to contact me in case I have extra information not yet on 
the website.
If you have any information, photos, stories etc that you would like to add to the 
site,I would be most happy to hear from you - likewise if you see something which is 
incorrect.
My thanks goes to those people who have already contributed much useful material - I 
hope I have acknowledged them all in the Sources list. 
I hope the site will prove interesting to all and helpful to anyone doing some
